Abhijit is a pioneer in cyber security and is well-known in the industry for his strong technical acumen and passion towards security. Fascinated at a very early age, he decided to pursue a career in security and has 18+ years of professional experience in the domain.

He worked with National Stock Exchange (NSE) as Head – Security Operations Centre.

He is considered an expert in the areas of Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) systems, Security Operations Center (SOC) and Incident Response (IR).

Abhijit has extensive experience in working for critical infrastructure institutions and was responsible for designing, deploying and maturing the SOC for National Stock Exchange, one of the earliest enterprise SOC’s in India. He is among the select few to have implemented a next generation SOC with capabilities of Security Analytics, Threat Intelligence and Hunting.

He has hands on experience on multiple security products and solutions catering to Data Security, Privileged user Management, Anomaly Detection Systems, Security Monitoring, Log Management and Analysis, Threat Modelling, Incident Management, Incident Response and Forensics. He has designed and implemented robust security architectures and worked on network security devices such as Firewalls, IPS/IDS, Proxy, URL Filtering etc.

His exposure to large enterprise infrastructure and operations coupled with his in-depth technical knowledge enables Abhijit to understand customer requirements from their perspective and provide customized and optimal solutions.

Abhijit has a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from Mumbai University and he is a SANS GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH).
